A Trip to Iran 

The Atlantic recently featured a stunning photoessay of Iran by New Zealand photographer Amos Chapple. 

The photographs were taken over a period of 3 recent visits, and offer seldom-seen glimpses of everyday life and people - from rural shepherds to city life. 

Surprisingly, Chapple also found that the anti-Western views of the government are not supported by many ordinary citizens. "I think because access for journalists is so difficult, people have a skewed image of what Iran is..."
