Worldbuzz.co is a curated website that focuses on global health and culture.  We collect and feature the most interesting digital news stories, articles and multimedia content that examine how the environment, food and nutrition, culture, technology and the arts  are affecting  people's lives and health around the world.

WorldBuzz-women.co focuses on how many of these same issues specifically affect women's lives and health around the world.

Who We Are

For over 20 years, I've been working in academia and the private sector as a writer and editor focusing on global health issues. Much of what I read is targeted to professionals in the field who are working on research, policy, and healthcare delivery issues.  At WorldBuzz, I wanted to bring together stories that show a more human snapshot of what people may be dealing with in their own countries and cultures, and how these issues may all be directly or indirectly shaping overall  health status. 

I believe that "health" is holistically shaped by many variables - genes and heredity, environment, nutrition, physical and emotional well-being, spirituality and creativity -  as well as access to medicine and healthcare. So I look for stories around the web that reflect these influences:  the serious and the light, and the intriguing people, places and ideas from all parts of the world.
